    • 5K – 6 years and older
    • Kids Fun Run – 10 years and under
  • Are walkers allowed?

You can walk in either event, but walkers MUST adhere to sidewalks wherever available. It is also important that walkers line up at the back of the pack at the start. DO NOT START NEAR THE FRONT TOWARD THE STARTING LINE, because you will be blocking people who are planning to run and will need to get around you. Best practice for runners or walkers is to line up near other people who are going to be going your expected pace, and for walkers this usually means toward the end of the group. Please note also that the course closes for both races at 11:00 a.m. We cannot guarantee that your time will be recorded if you finish after 11:00 a.m. At that time, all road marshals and safety crews will leave the course.

  • Can I wear headphones?

If you wear headphones while you are running, you are competing in violation of race policies. We will not disqualify you, but when you sign the waiver to compete, you acknowledge that you are doing this at your own risk. We strongly discourage the wearing of headphones during the Bridge Run. There are areas of the course where runners need to be aware of their surroundings and able to hear directions from road marshals.

  • Can I run with a stroller or dog?

No. Strollers as well as animals are prohibited from the race course and if you run with a dog, you will be asked to leave the course.

  • What all is included with the Bridge Run registration and event?

Half Marathon registration includes: Long Sleeve Tech Shirt and Commemorative Finishers Medal. 5K: Tech Shirt. 2-Person Half Marathon Relay: Shirt for both participants. All Races: entry to the Finish Line Cool Down party. There are a number of events leading up to and during the race weekend. This includes a training program provided by Synergy Fitness. Our Packet Pick-Up and Race Expo sponsored by World Wide Sport Supply is on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th. Finally THE COOL DOWN, presented by Hue, offers great entertainment, drink and food specials at the finish line and around downtown Binghamton after the race is concluded. For more information read all the details in the Total Race Experience section on the home page.

  • What are the registration deadlines?

Price increases on 12/21/18, 2/1/19, 4/1/19. On-line registration closes on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 12:00 Noon ET.

  • What is the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund. If you cannot participate in this year's race, you can defer your race registration at 50% of the registration fee for the next year's event. The reduced registration will be applicable until the registration deadline for the next year's race. You will receive, via e-mail, a deferral code that can be used to register for the next year's race. You must complete this by April 19th, 2019.

  • How do I register for the relay with my 2nd runner?

The team captain would initiate the relay registration by hitting the button “register now” on the Bridge Run website. After entering your personal information, you will be asked to choose – 1) create a relay team or 2) join a relay team. The team captain chooses “create a relay team.” You will be asked to enter a team name and password. The team captain pays the full registration amount for both runners. The team captain send the team name and password to runner #2 so they can register for your relay team. They repeat the process but choose “join a relay team.” They are not charged a registration fee at the end of the transaction.
