RACE INFO

The Greater Binghamton Bridge Run is the largest premier running event in the Greater Binghamton area which includes a USATF certified half marathon and 5k races. The scenic, mostly flat course, crosses over four bridges and under one where you will have beautiful views of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers. You don’t want to miss this Half Marathon & 5K running race this spring in Upstate New York.

Water / Gatorade Stations / Port-A-Potties

Water Stations / Gatorade Stations / Port-a-Potties will be located on miles 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9.5, 12, Finish Line (HM) and Miles 1,2 and Finish Line for the 5K - Water is being provided by Culligan Water.

Registration Deadline

Online Registration Closes at 12:00 PM EST on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Mail-in forms must arrive by April 29, 2026 to be entered.

We are offering registration during Packet Pick Up on Friday, May 1 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm and Saturday, May 2 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at 5 South College Drive in Binghamton, NY. Race weekend registrations may not be guaranteed a shirt.

Shirt Sizes

We do our best to assure that you receive your requested shirt size BUT if you registered for the race after 4/15/26 for the Half or 5K, we cannot guarantee you will receive your requested size. We cannot exchange sizes.

5K

The Bridge Run 5K is a 3.1 mile course weaves through the heart of downtown Binghamton through cultural and historic neighborhoods on the west side of Binghamton, and across 2 bridges.

Half Marathon

13.1 Miles
The Bridge Run Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile course weaves through the heart of downtown Binghamton through cultural and historic neighborhoods on the west side of Binghamton, across 4 bridges and our 2 rivers, including the Susquehanna and Chenango.

Double Challenge

16.2 Miles
Challenge yourself, get a registration discount, and double your race experience by running both the Half Marathon and 5K! It's 16.2 miles of fun! The HM starts at 7:30 am and the 5K starts at 10:00 am. Sign up for the Double Bridge Run Challenge to earn extra swag.

Half Marathon Relay

13.1 Miles – Approximately 6.5 Miles Each Runner
The Bridge Run Half Marathon Two-Person Relay is a 13.1 mile course - with relay exchange after mile 6 - that weaves through the heart of downtown Binghamton through cultural and historic neighborhoods on the west side of Binghamton, across 4 bridges and our 2 rivers, including the Susquehanna and Chenango. Relay Captain pays one registration fee for both runners.

Race Logistics

START: Runner 1 starts with HM runners at 7:30 AM at Mirabito Stadium. Runner 2 waits for Runner 1 on South Washington Street Pedestrian Bridge.

EXCHANGE: Washington Street Bridge: Relay runners stay to the left side of the cones; Full HM runners to the right.

PARKING/TRANSPORTATION: Runners will need to coordinate their own transportation to and from the exchange point. No shuttle service will be provided. Parking is available at DeMunn Funeral Home (36 Conklin Ave.) and Lourdes Pain & Wellness Center (26 S. Washington St.).

FINISH: Runner 1 can meet Runner 2 at the finish line to cross together.

RESULTS: Results will be listed by Team Name.
