Are walkers allowed?
You can walk in either event, but walkers MUST adhere to sidewalks wherever available. It is also important that walkers line up at the back of the pack at the start. DO NOT START NEAR THE FRONT TOWARD THE STARTING LINE, because you will be blocking people who are planning to run and will need to get around you. Best practice for runners or walkers is to line up near other people who are going to be going your expected pace, and for walkers this usually means toward the end of the group. Please note also that the course closes for both races at 11:00 a.m. We cannot guarantee that your time will be recorded if you finish after 11:00 a.m. At that time, all road marshals and safety crews will leave the course.
What are the age requirements for each race?
- Half Marathon - 13 years and older
- Half Marathon Relay - 13 years and older
- 5K - 6 years and older
- Kids Fun Run - 10 years and under
Can I wear headphones?
If you wear headphones while you are running, you are competing in violation of race policies. We will not disqualify you, but when you sign the waiver to compete, you acknowledge that you are doing this at your own risk. We strongly discourage the wearing of headphones during the Bridge Run. There are areas of the course where runners need to be aware of their surroundings and able to hear directions from road marshals.
Can I run with a stroller or dog?
No. Strollers as well as animals are prohibited from the race course and if you run with a dog, you will be asked to leave the course.
What are the registration deadlines?
Price increases on 1/15/24 and all changes to existing registrations must be received by 4:30 PM on Monday, April 29th. There will be no changes, deferrals, and/or refunds allowed after this deadline - no exceptions.
!!Registrations for the half-marathon races, double bridge run, or relay races will ONLY be available online. You will NOT be able to register for these three events at the Expo or on Race Day. New online registrations will be accepted up until Wednesday, May 1st at noon. No more online registrations will be accepted beyond this date - no exceptions.
When do I pick up my race packet?

What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund. If you cannot participate in this year's race, you defer your race registration at 50% of the registration fee for the next year's event. The reduced registration will be applicable until the registration deadline for the next year's race. You will receive, via e-mail, a deferral code that can be used to register for the next year's race. You must complete this by April 29, 2024.

Can I switch races after I have already registered?
Yes. If you want to switch from 5K to Half or 2-Person Half Marathon Relay, you can do this online or by calling and paying the registration charge difference. If you want to switch from Half to 2-Person Half Marathon Relay or 5K, you can do this also but you will not be refunded the difference in fees.
How do I register for the relay with my 2nd runner?
The team captain would initiate the relay registration by hitting the button "register now" on the Bridge Run website. After entering your personal information, you will be asked to choose - 1) create a relay team or 2) join a relay team. The team captain chooses "create a relay team." You will be asked to enter a team name and password. The team captain pays the full registration amount for both runners. The team captain send the team name and password to runner #2 so they can register for your relay team. They repeat the process but choose "join a relay team." They are not charged a registration fee at the end of the transaction.

Participants who choose the non-competitive participant division during registration will appear in results but will not be eligible for cash or age-group awards.
